The Broom Wagon

Cleaning up after the week's events...

Some little shit upstart wins TDU

TJ Slagter sporting the cheesiest jersey in the peloton

Team Blanco's newest sensation proved to be the strongest rider in Adelaide.  Team Wiskota Dynamic's Geraint Thomas had an impressive week, capped off with a comback effort on Sunday to regain a podium spot.  Andre Greipel continued to dominate the sprints down under, taking three stages with relative ease.
Almost everyone scored something here. Except for little Andy Schleck, who was the only rider to not finish the 90 km circuit on the final day, keeping his streak of not finishing or winning anything alive.
In all fairness, Slagter looked impressive and deserved the win.  He's a punchy rider who some, including Gregario Forza, claim will be the next Purito.  That's a bit of a stretch but as for now he is the World Tour leader.
