Who should the USA take to the Worlds? We have 6 spots. TVG, Talansky and Fast Freddy qualified already. I kind of hope that Fast Fred decides not to go. Is that weak? Its awfully climby and I just don't see the old man making a big difference.
I'd personally like to see Matty B, Horner, Alex Howes, and Phinney. I think Phinney has to be part of road race team if he wants to TT. Correct?
Gotta take Phinney cause there is that team TT also. Tough call, I like a team with domestiques and one leader. Probably not enough spots for that. Freddie will go, sport beans. TVG, Talansky, Freddie, Phinney, Busche. Cant decide on the last spot. Another TT'er? I would say Duggan but he has had an injury season. Not feeling Horner but he could have a good Vuelta. I have the US for my country so I want a TTT team. Dont really see a winner in our group but oddly Freddie would probably be most likely. Don't see our climbers getting away but if it were a breakaway bunch sprint Freddie could win. Probably not.

I have been eyeing Ulissi all season. Not convinced he can hang with the GC all month but his form should be peaking. Stage win, Worlds?
